Six reasons to choose our solution

Industrial Quality:
  • Low start-up and configuration effort

  • Ready-to-use Plug-and-Play solution

  • Easy connection with M12 circular connectors

  • IP66 waterproof rating

Wide Range of Sensors:
  • Ambient temperature, ambient humidity, wind speed, wind direction, solar radiation, and PV panel temperature sensors

  • Possibility of integrating other sensors through the RS-485 port and the two available analog inputs (4..20mA / 0..10V)

Scalability
  • RS485 port (Master) for integrating up to 32 GR42 extension modules (4xPT100 + 2xAl)

  • Possibility of integrating other Modbus devices (on request)

Large Data Storage Capacity:
  • Onboard memory: 32 GB

  • Several years of data

  • Sampling period from 1 second to several hours

Advanced Communication:
  • 2 RS-485 Modbus RTU ports

  • 1 Ethernet Modbus TCP port

  • 4G/5G communication — Wifi — IQRF (optional)

  • Other protocols available on request

Powerful and Free Software:

M-Visu software provided free of charge. It allows:

  • Local and remote configuration

  • Download and playback of recorded data

  • Integration of multiple statistical analysis tools

Universal Weather Station:

The SM4000 weather station is designed for universal use and supports the connection of up to 32 sensors and GR4-4PT-2AI extension modules communicating via Modbus. Furthermore, the station is reliably protected against surges and severe weather conditions. The sensors are easily configured via the M-Visu software. The acquired meteorological data is locally recorded in the internal memory of the datalogger (32GB capacity) at intervals ranging from 1 second to several hours (configurable within the software). The storage capacity is more than 10 years. The M-Visu software (provided for free) allows for the visualization and analysis of recorded data with very advanced tools, in addition to report editing. Thanks to its RS-485 and Ethernet communication ports, the weather station can be easily connected to any PV monitoring system or SCADA supervision system using the Modbus TCP protocol.
