Description

The CTS100 surface temperature sensor is an adhesive film probe. It has been specially designed for surface measurements and is primarily used to measure the temperature of photovoltaic panels, power transformers, etc.

Attaching the surface temperature sensor to the back of a photovoltaic panel allows for measuring the panel’s temperature and thus tracking the evolution of its power curve.

The CTS100 outdoor temperature sensor consists of an RTD (resistance temperature detector) made from a platinum resistance wire of type PT100 (typical resistance equal to 100 ohms at 0°C) integrated into a weather-resistant stainless steel tube, welded onto a stainless steel plate with an adhesive film on its back. It is characterized by its high precision, wide measurement range (over 200°C), and good reproducibility and stability.

The CTS100 is calibrated to measure temperatures between -20°C and +80°C with high precision.

Due to its compact design, it allows for very flexible use and can be universally integrated. It is equipped with a three-conductor connection cable with a length of 3 meters.
